Passage de témoins , Eric Gdalia prends le relais !
After leading the RS500 class for 6 years in France, Alexandre has decided to step down. Since the Loctudy World Championship (2014), Alexandre has participated in RS500 events multiple times and trained our small French team, more particularly in the Rhône-Alpes région with 9 boat owners. In constant contact with the M.Geerling and the international class, Alexandre built our website and coordinated us all. A massive thank you for all that !
Eric will be taking over. After 6 years, it’s the right time to pursue a federative spirit around a boat that we enjoy. Alexandre and Eric have complementary sensitivities, this transmission will make us get used to regularly change our representative. Both of them will co-lead until the end of the year to prepare 2022.
Our objectives will be to maintain the links with the office of the International Class; to continue the census of the RS500 FRA racers and leisure sailors; to promote communication between RS500 sailors. We will also have to make a contact with the FFV, to develop the dialogue with RS FRANCE and the Breizskiff collective, to promote the RS500 in FFV clubs. Last, but not least, the challenge will be to organize a National RS500 race.
